de l&rsquo;histoire est effectu\u00e9 par le fran\u00e7ais Andr\u00e9-Jacques Garnerin (1769-1823), apr\u00e8s s&rsquo;\u00eatre d\u00e9croch\u00e9 d&rsquo;un ballon \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne qui soutenait la nacelle dans laquelle il avait pris place le 22 octobre 1797 \u00e0 Paris.<\/p><p class=\"text-[#172B57]\/60 leading-relaxed font-light text-[0.93rem]\">Durant la Premi\u00e8re Guerre mondiale, la perte de nombreux pilotes et observateurs en ballon pousse les militaires \u00e0 s&rsquo;int\u00e9resser \u00e0 la technique et \u00e0 mettre au point un parachute afin de permettre aux a\u00e9rostiers de s&rsquo;\u00e9chapper en cas d&rsquo;attaque. En 1935, trois officiers fran\u00e7ais rejoignent l&rsquo;Union sovi\u00e9tique pour apprendre l&rsquo;art du saut en parachute : les capitaine Geille et Durieux de l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e de l&rsquo;air, et le commandant Pechaud Chalret du Rieu de l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e de terre.<\/p><p class=\"text-[#172B57]\/60 leading-relaxed font-light text-[0.93rem]\">Une fois brevet\u00e9 et rentr\u00e9 en France, le capitaine Geille prend la charge de la formation des premi\u00e8res unit\u00e9s parachutistes exp\u00e9rimentales de l&rsquo;infanterie de l&rsquo;air. Il travaille \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation du centre d&rsquo;instruction de parachutisme de l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e de l&rsquo;air \u00e0 Avignon-Pujaut. Mais il faut attendre 1936 pour la cr\u00e9ation de deux groupes d&rsquo;Infanterie de l&rsquo;air. Le scepticisme des arm\u00e9es de terre et de l&rsquo;air font que ces unit\u00e9s ne seront utilis\u00e9es que pour des missions secondaires.<\/p><p class=\"text-[#172B57]\/60 leading-relaxed font-light text-[0.93rem]\">L&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 des op\u00e9rations a\u00e9roport\u00e9es allemandes au d\u00e9but de la Seconde Guerre mondiale va faire prendre conscience aux alli\u00e9s qu&rsquo;ils ne peuvent plus n\u00e9gliger cette forme de combat. Seront rapidement mises sur pieds des unit\u00e9s parachutistes anglaises et am\u00e9ricaines au sein desquelles les parachutistes fran\u00e7ais seront pr\u00e9sents. Ils prendront ensuite place au sein des Forces Fran\u00e7aises Libres ou au sein des Arm\u00e9es d&rsquo;Afrique.<\/p><p class=\"text-[#172B57]\/60 leading-relaxed font-light text-[0.93rem]\">En septembre 1940 est cr\u00e9\u00e9e en Angleterre par le capitaine Berg\u00e9 la 1\u00e8re compagnie d&rsquo;infanterie de l&rsquo;air. Le succ\u00e8s de leurs op\u00e9rations donne l&rsquo;id\u00e9e au commandement des FFL d&rsquo;utiliser les parachutistes au Bureau Central de Renseignement et d&rsquo;Action (BCRA). Le reste de la compagnie rejoint le Moyen Orient et le Special Air Service (SAS) du Major Stirling. Le Peloton Parachutiste du Levant devient le French Squadron SAS. \u00c0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 des SAS, la cr\u00e9ation du 1er R\u00e9giment de Chasseurs parachutistes marque la renaissance des parachutistes de l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e d&rsquo;Afrique.<\/p><p class=\"text-[#172B57]\/60 leading-relaxed font-light text-[0.93rem]\">De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le Bataillon de Choc re\u00e7oit une formation parachutiste am\u00e9ricaine et une formation amphibie anglaise. Les volontaires de toutes armes et de toutes arm\u00e9es qui le composent seront toujours aux avant-postes de la 1\u00e8re Arm\u00e9e fran\u00e7aise.<\/p><p class=\"text-[#172B57]\/60 leading-relaxed font-light text-[0.93rem]\">Deux unit\u00e9s au recrutement tr\u00e8s particulier font aussi leur apparition : d&rsquo;un c\u00f4t\u00e9, le groupe des commandos d&rsquo;Afrique, form\u00e9 autour d&rsquo;un noyau de gaullistes d&rsquo;Afrique du Nord ; de l&rsquo;autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, le groupe des commandos de France du capitaine d&rsquo;Astier de la Vigerie form\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9vad\u00e9s de France. Elles seront dissoutes \u00e0 la fin de la guerre.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50
